A Review of the Most Pressing Questions/Theories Brought About By the End of the Matrix Trilogy

#1 - Wtf? This is an all-encompassing question that explains the general feeling I've walked out of theaters thinking both times I've seen it. For more specifics, keep reading.

#2 - When Morpheus, Trinity, and Seraph enter the Merovingian's club, the Merovingian looks over the edge of the balcony and calls Seraph "the prodigal son" and "my little Judas." By extension, therefore, I take that to mean that the Oracle would also be considered a traitor to the Merovingian's cause. But if they were traitors, then at some point they must have all been on the same side. Which leads ME to believe that in the past five "versions" of the Matrix, the Oracle and the Architect were on the same side. Why is this important? I believe this is a sign that this "version" WAS different - that this time, things were so radically different that eventually the machines will be beaten. Refer also to the conversation between the Architect and the Oracle at the end, in which the Architect says "You play a dangerous game," and the Oracle responds by saying "Change always is."

#3 - During the scene in which Smith absorbs the Oracle, the Oracle calls him a bastard. Smith's response: "You would know, Mom." MOM? It was Neo that destroyed Agent Smith and made him Virus Smith. So he must be referring to the creation of the Agents, right? But why would she create the Agents, unless he was created back when she sided with the Architect? (Looney Theory: The Oracle and the Architect got it on in the Architect's TV room in the spinning chair and the Agents that were born were spread through the Matrix by hopping through the TV screens, kung-fu style.)

#4 - Where WAS Sati headed? My understanding was that she was headed for the real-world to be unplugged, since her father said that they were taking her to "Neo's world." But if that's the case, why didn't she make it? And if that's not the case, then where? (Semi-looney Theory: Sati was intended to be the next Oracle if Neo failed.)

#5 - Why wouldn't Trinity die already? I was doing so good the second time I saw it, in that I was actually sad instead of rolling my eyes like I did the first time. Then, about 10 minutes into her death, I heard an African-American gentleman behind me whisper "Shit, ain't she dead yet? Two days from now she STILL be talkin'." There was no hope for seriousness after that.

#6 - What's this crap about Sati creating the sunrise at the end? Wouldn't that mean that that little girl has power ten zillions times greater than what Neo has?

#7 - WILL we see Neo again? We'd better.
